Jell is an original rock band from Victoria BC with a sound that focuses on guitar-driven modern rock with catchy vocal hooks and clever insightful lyrics. They draw influence from bands like Our Lady Peace, Stone Temple Pilots, Oasis, Finger Eleven, and Foo Fighters.

Jell was chosen as Band of the Month for December on the major radio station 99.3 The Fox in Vancouver, which featured their single "Careless" heavily throughout the month. "Careless" was also featured as Indie Track of the Day on Alan Cross' website ExploreMusic.com. Jell recorded their new songs "Out of Your Head" and "Careless" in Michigan with Evans Blue/Rains producer Trevor Kustiak. The songs were mixed by Mark Makoway (Moist, Matt Mays) and appear on Jell's third independent album titled "Memory Starts to Fade".

Jell was nominated for Live Performance of the Year at the 2007 Island Music Awards. In August Jell won the Coors Light Battle of the Bands at in Victoria. Also, Jell have been featured as Band of the Month on the major Victoria radio station 91.3 the Zone. In the last three years Jell has toured across Canada twice, and have opened for multi platinum Canadian band State of Shock. They have also toured down the west coast three times with shows at both The Whisky and The Roxy Theater in Los Angeles.

Jell offers music fans a fresh new rock sound that fully entertains with original guitar riffs, poetic but to the point vocals, and an overall dramatic feel.
